The sustainable development goals , otherwise known as the Global goals , are a universal call to action to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all people . T he g oals w ere a pproved b y a ll U N member States , including Uzbekistan, in September 2015. They include 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030.
